Auction 2010 - Calgary

A great big THANK YOU to everyone who attended our 8th annual summer camp auction. Every year the auction seems to get better and better... this year was no exception! We were delighted to have Andriy Korniychuk from Rivne, Ukraine. Andriy is a pastor of Grace Baptist Church and has planted four daughter churches. Andriy came with a powerful message that touched everyone's hearts.

We were also privilaged to have a guest artist, Lewis Lavoie. Lewis is a talented artist from St. Albert, Alberta who is known for his eye-catching murals and a Biblical science finction fantasy series called 'World of Nod'. Lewis painted almost the whole evening, then auctioned off his piece.

HART is able to send thousands of children to summer camps in Ukraine because of your generosity. We had a treasure chest that raised enough funds to send 600 children to camp alone!! Throughout the evening people were informed and challenged to sponsor a child from Ukraine.  31 children were sponsored that evening!

 Together We:

• Enjoyed the competition from the Silent Auction
• Feasted on a traditional Ukrainian Dinner
• Listened and watched a presentation from Lloyd Cenaiko and Andriy Korniychuk
• Competed against each other in the Live Auction
