Dear Sponsor,
Hi! My name is Artem, and I’m 10 years old. I live in a village. My dad works as a security guard in another village, and my mom is at home because she’s on maternity leave. I have a big sister named Eva. She sings really well and goes to choir practice on Saturdays. Eva is my best friend, and we get along so well. Our favorite game is football, and Eva plays it with me!
At Christmas, we sing carols and tell people about Jesus. I’m in the 4th grade, and during summer break, I love swimming in the river and playing football. I walk to school, and it takes me about 15 minutes. I spent 4 hours at school. I like it when we get bananas, but I don’t like it when the other kids shout. My favorite subject is PE because I like being active.
I really enjoy eating meat dumplings, soup, borsch, or sandwiches, and on holidays, we sometimes get to eat cake! When I’m not at school, I usually play football. When I grow up, I want to be a mechanic.
Thank you so much for helping my family! I’d love to get to know you better, and we would be really happy to have you visit us here in Ukraine.
Sincerely,
Artem

Meet Artem, a cheerful and lively 10-year-old boy who is loved for his calm nature and friendly spirit. Artem is always excited to go to school, where he learns something new every day. When he comes home, he can’t wait to share all the fun things he learned with his parents and siblings. One of his biggest joys is playing football with his friends and family. He loves spending time outside, running around, and discovering the wonders of nature.
At home, Artem is very helpful. He makes his bed, looks after his younger siblings, and keeps his space tidy. He enjoys going to Sunday school and loves singing in the choir with his siblings.
Artem comes from a big family. His mom has epilepsy, and even though doctors said she shouldn’t have children, she has been blessed with 11 kids, thanks to God’s help. Right now, they are expecting their 12th child, which is very exciting! They are a loving and supportive family. His dad grew up in an orphanage and met Artem’s mom in Rivnenska oblast. They now live together in another village. Artem’s dad works as a watchman at a plant, but his salary is very low and doesn’t meet all their needs. Meanwhile, Artem’s mom takes care of the children, cooks, cleans, and does laundry.
Despite having so many children, Artem and his siblings feel loved and supported by their parents. They help out around the house and do well in school, completing their homework on time. Artem dreams of showing his family what God’s love feels like and hopes they can all follow Jesus together from the start of their lives.
The family has a good relationship. The children are obedient and help their parents with chores. Artem’s dad respects his mom and spends quality time with the kids. They have three rooms for eight boys, who sleep on mattresses, and one room for three girls, while the parents have their own room. The house has a bathroom and shower, but everything is old and needs fixing. The children help keep the kitchen clean, but the house needs repairs both inside and out. They also need more beds because the house is too small for their large family. The rooms are tidy, and the children take care of themselves. The family needs food, clothes, shoes, and a new place to live or repairs to make their current home comfortable.
Your support can make a big difference in their lives. Thank you for considering helping this loving family!
