Dear sponsor,
My name is Tamila. I live in Ukraine, and I am eight years old. I started the first-grade last year. I like studying at school and I have many friends there. My favorite subject is Math, and I also like English and Ukrainian. I love helping my mother at home, for example drying the dishes or vacuuming the carpet. I draw pictures and play with my dolls when I have free time. I also enjoy playing the piano. Our family is large: I have four sisters and seven brothers. We all attend church each Sunday. My siblings and I go to Sunday school there.
I love my family. Thank you for your desire to support our family. May the Lord bless you!
Tamila
Caseworker’s comments:
Tamila is responsible and helps her mother look after her younger brothers. She is also diligent and has a talent for music; she picks out melodies by ear and plays the children’s piano. She likes being part of the children’s church choir as she loves to worship God as much as she can. Tamila is currently in grade one with her brother Mark, she loves going to school and learning new things. She is known to be a great student as her teachers often praise her. Her family is very devoted to Christ and the church, her parents are keen to bringing up all their children on God’s principle’s. All the kids are currently active in their church’s ministries and attend Sunday School.
Her family of 14, lives in a 2-room small apartment, where apparently the place is so small that the floor space is covered with mattresses leaving no space for them to be able to walk. The family’s financial situation has been tough, as the family is currently receiving aid from the state which is not enough to cover all the needs this big family requires. Through the child sponsorship program, Tamila will be able to have good & proper clothing, and school supplies, and hopefully in the future she will find a well-paid job but most importantly she will be able to go to music school and develop her God-given talent. Tamila and her family would very much appreciate your support.
