Yuliya is a cheerful and active girl. She likes helping her grandma take care of the household. Yuliya`s mother died of cancer in 2014. The father has been deprived of parental rights, so Yuliya lives with her grandma, who is her guardian. Yuliya has siblings: sister Olena and brothers Dmytro and Vlad. Olena and Dmytro are adults. Vlad is sixteen years old and he is taken care of by  Ludmyla. The family members get along with each other really well.

The grandma tries to bring up her grandchildren in the light of Christian values. Olena and Dmytro try to help their grandma with the household and their younger siblings. The grandma receives pension and allowance for the kids but the money is not always enough to provide the kids with everything they need. The family  has no primary bread winner.  They live in a two-room house without heating system and water supply. They get water from the well, wash in a basin and use an outhouse. The family also needs financial help to get the rooms renovated and repaired. Unfortunately,  two rooms is not enough for all the children and grandma. Yuliya would like more privacy as a growing girl.

With both parents out of the picture this little family works together and stays together. It is grandmothers dream to break the cycle of poverty.  Right now the priority is for everyone to get  meals and go to school.  Your Sponsorship will help this family to know that someone cares and wants to see them all grow to be independent and educated.
