Our Financial Commitment

HART is passionate about serving the physical and spiritual needs of impoverished people in Eastern Europe but remains dedicated to maintaining our integrity as we pursue these objectives. Financial responsibility is a key facet of HART.

Your funds will be directed to the HART projects/programs that you designate.

We only work through trusted local partner churches, leaders & agencies
that ensure the proper use of your funds.

With conservative operating and administrative costs, over 90% of your
gifts will be directed to HART ministry partners.

All inquiries from HART supporters will be answered in a timely manner,
providing full transparency and accountability.

We are able to accomplish our 90% policy because of several factors:

  • Our operational costs are covered by generous private donors who believe in our cause and understand that operating a ministry requires overhead costs. Their support can cover everything from salaries to basic office systems, office rent and supplies. These donors are a huge blessing in that their investment fuels our long-term mission and stabilizes our operations.
  • We also stage fundraising events in which upwards of 50% of funds raised are ‘undesignated’ which allows us to use them for operating expenses or projects that receive little or no funding from our donor base.
  • Thirdly, through our promotional and educational material (such as newsletters, website, etc.) donors have the opportunity to contribute towards designated or undesignated projects in HART’s ministry. Many choose the latter, which affords us the ability to fund projects that get no direct support, without taking funds away from designated projects.
