What we do

Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis

For nearly three decades, HART’s mission has been focused on alleviating poverty and injustice in Eastern Europe. However, since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, our work has taken on an entirely new level of urgency and significance. Millions of people have been uprooted from their homes and are in dire need of humanitarian assistance. So, throughout the war, HART has been resourcing an extensive network of church partners across Ukraine, empowering them to respond effectively to the humanitarian crisis caused by this war.

Our Mission

HART is a Christian relief and missions organization, whose mission is to serve, empower and build the local church in Eastern Europe, to advance the gospel and serve the most vulnerable people in their communities.

Our Approach

HART’s approach is centered on partnerships with local churches; providing them with resources, helping them develop good strategies and programs for compassion and evangelism, with a focus on the long-term sustainability of their programs.

How We Work

PARTNER

We identify and partner with the most inspiring pastors, ministries, and churches; empowering them to advance the gospel and serve the most vulnerable people in their communities.

BUILD

We equip them with the tools to build, strengthen and grow their churches and create a better world for themselves and their communities.

TRANSFORM

Our vision is to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, and through sustainable programs and projects led by local churches.
