I am writing on behalf of my daughter, Myroslava, who is eight months old. We live in a town after relocating from another town in another region. My husband works as a welder, and I am currently on maternity leave caring for Myroslava.
Myroslava is a happy and curious baby who loves rattles, musical toys, and being close to her family. Her older sisters adore her, especially Luba, who enjoys making her laugh and helping care for her. Myroslava is growing quickly and has recently started trying new foods, including fruits, vegetables, and chicken.

Meet Myroslava, a precious baby girl whose bright smile and joyful laughter bring hope and warmth to everyone around her. Healthy, content, and full of curiosity, Myroslava loves musical toys, cuddling with her mother, and being surrounded by the love of her family. At just a young age, she is already a source of comfort and happiness to her older sisters, who adore her and delight in making her laugh. Like any child, Myroslava deserves the opportunity to grow up in a safe, stable, and loving environment where she can thrive.
Behind her sweet smile, however, is a family that has endured tremendous hardship and uncertainty.
In January 2023, as the war drew closer to their hometown, Myroslava’s mother, Tetiana, was forced to flee with her three daughters, leaving behind much of what they owned. Arriving in another town with very few belongings, the family found refuge through a local church community that helped provide clothing, support, and hope during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. Through this experience, Tetiana found strength in her faith, was baptized, and became an active member of the church community that welcomed her.
Life has not been easy for this family. The fathers of Tetiana’s older daughters are not involved in their lives and provide no emotional or financial support. The older girls have also faced significant challenges, including disruptions to their education due to both the pandemic and the war. Adjusting to a new community and school environment brings additional emotional struggles and anxiety.
In 2025, Tetiana married Taras, hoping to create a stable future for her family. Shortly afterward, Myroslava was born. Sadly, the family soon faced new difficulties when Taras relapsed into alcohol addiction, and his behavior became unpredictable and aggressive. Out of concern for her children’s safety, Tetiana was forced to leave their home and seek temporary refuge elsewhere. Although efforts are being made by pastors and counselors to help Taras overcome his struggles and rebuild his life, the family continues to face uncertainty about what the future may hold.
At present, Tetiana and her children are living in temporary accommodation provided through a children’s support center while they wait for circumstances to improve. As a mother of four young children and currently on maternity leave, Tetiana is unable to work and relies heavily on community support to meet her family’s basic needs. Every day she works tirelessly to care for her children, provide emotional stability, and shield them from the difficulties surrounding them.

Your support would remind this family that they are not alone and that there are people who believe in them, care for them, and want to see them succeed.
