What is an Employer Matching program?
Some employers will match an employee’s donation to registered charities (by percentage or dollar-for-dollar up to a certain amount). Although the process may vary, it’s a great way to increase the size of your donation to HART.
Getting started…
Talk to your company’s Human Resources department and find out if they already offer a Matching Gift program. If there is a program already in place, they will provide you with the information you need to have your donation matched.
If there is no program in place, discuss the possibility of a Matching Gift program with your company’s Human Resources department. It is a great opportunity to get your employer involved in the community.
