Emergency Backpacks for Children in Ukraine.
Today in Ukraine, children live with the reality that air-raid sirens can interrupt school or sleep at any moment. When they sound, families rush to bomb shelters—sometimes in the middle of the night. Through this new Backpack initiative, we have an opportunity to help bring comfort and hope in those frightening moments.
How this backpack project works.
1,000 backpacks are already on their way to HART’s office in Ukraine. Our team there will purchase the essential items locally, prepare each backpack, and distribute them through our trusted church partners in areas where missile strikes are most common.
With one simple act of generosity, we can help Ukrainian children face these frightening nights with greater safety and hope.
