I usually listen to music or watch movies at home. I like eating milk cereals. Moreover, my mother cooks different soups or borsch for me, but she grinds everything in a blender. In the halls of university, during the academic pursuits, two souls found each other, bound by love’s embrace, and vowed to journey life’s path together. The union of Nazar’s parents was blessed with the promise of a new life, but fate dealt a harsh blow during the birth hour of Nazar. During the struggle of labor, their precious child, Nazar, faced the silent adversary of cerebral palsy, symptomatic epilepsy, scoliosis, developmental delay, and partial atrophy of optic nerves.
Nevertheless, in the face of hopelessness, they clung to God for hope. Though the weight of sorrow grew heavier still with the loss of Nazar’s father who passed away due to brain cancer, the mother’s love remained an unyielding beacon of strength, for Nazar.
She stood alone, holding her tired son in her arms, but her spirit stayed strong. Lina, Nazar’s mother, was left alone with no external help, her husband’s parents stopped visiting the child, and her parents are hardly ever able to visit as they live in another village. Lina has reached out for help, but no one has extended their hands to help out.
Nazar, a child of God, embraced by the gentle arms of his mother finds joy in the simplest of moments—listening to his mother’s melodious voice, chasing bubbles, listening to his mother’s stories, and basking in the warmth of her love. Though the world may see him as different, in her eyes and in the eyes of God, he is fearfully and wonderfully made, a testament to the beauty of strength.
Despite the trials that tormented them, their home is a sanctuary of love and tranquility. In the modest confines, a garden flourishes, offering solace within life’s storms. Though the years have weathered their home, the mother’s hands have woven a tapestry of care, ensuring comfort all through adversity. However, their house still needs some repairs.
