When Andriy first arrived at camp, he was quiet and afraid. He barely spoke, kept to himself, and was unsure of whom to trust. Like many children in Ukraine today, he carried more than just a backpack—he carried fear, uncertainty, and the weight of growing up in a time of war (which began in 2014).
But something began to change that week at camp.
Counselors noticed him. They listened. They included him. For the first time in a long time, Andriy felt safe. He heard about Jesus—not just in words, but in the way people treated him. And slowly, he began to open up.
He smiled. He laughed. He made friends.
Years passed. Andriy came back to camp—not as a camper, but as a counselor. Today, he is helping children just like him—children who arrive quiet, afraid, and are also carrying burdens far beyond their years. He gives back… because someone once gave to him.
This is the quiet multiplication of the Kingdom: changed lives – change lives.
