Ukraine at War – Update 14, 2026

Summer Camp Prayer Guide 2026

As thousands of children and youth begin to attend HART-supported summer camps across Ukraine, we invite you to join us in prayer.

Your prayers are just as important as your financial support. Together, we can ask God to work powerfully in the lives of these children, their families, and the churches serving them. Suggestions for prayers…

Recently, one of HART’s partner churches in Lviv reached out to us on behalf of 7-year-old Mark, a little boy who desperately needed a specialized walker to improve his mobility, body posture, and independence.

Mark’s parents are facing significant financial challenges and simply could not afford the $1,500 cost of the walker.

Determined to help, their local church has committed to raising a portion of the funds. With support from HART and caring people like you, we ensured that Mark received the equipment he needs.

For Mark, this walker is much more than a piece of medical equipment—it represents freedom, opportunity, and hope for a brighter future. Thank you for helping make a dream come true for a little boy in Ukraine!

But Mark is not alone. In our network of partner churches across Ukraine, many children and adults are waiting for life-changing medical care, rehabilitation equipment, medications, and treatments that their families cannot afford. Your support makes it possible to respond when these urgent needs arise. Please help us continue bringing hope and healing to others like Mark.

Pastor Oleh: “We thank HART for their partnership, allowing us the great privilege of impacting elderly people (like Lyuba) through the Gospel and acts of kindness.”

Lyuba (63) lives in a small village and has been bedridden for the past two years following a stroke that left her unable to walk. Once able to grow much of her own food in her garden, she can no longer care for the land that once helped sustain her.

Over the last decade, Lyuba has endured heartbreaking loss. She has buried her husband, two daughters, and a son. Today, only one son remains, and he lives with her. Sadly, he struggles with alcoholism and is unable to provide the support she needs.

The limited social assistance (disability pension) she receives covers only a portion of her basic needs, such as groceries and diapers—essential but costly necessities for someone confined to bed.

Despite these difficult circumstances, Lyuba has not been forgotten.

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of people like you, she receives practical help, encouragement, and the essentials she needs to live with dignity. Your support through a local church reminds her that she is loved, valued, and not alone.

Your compassion is making a real difference in her life and in the lives of many other seniors like her. THANK YOU!

A Church That Serves Its Community

When HART invests in local churches, the results often extend far beyond what anyone could imagine.

Parents from eleven local schools approached a pastor with an unusual request: “Will you run summer camps for our children?” How did a local church earn such trust and respect in its community? Read on to discover a story of service, faith, and extraordinary spiritual impact.

Russia escalates war on Ukrainian heritage and national identity

Russia bombed one of the most sacred religious sites in Ukraine early on June 15, marking the latest escalation in a Kremlin campaign to target the symbols of Ukrainian heritage and national identity.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack as “one of Russia’s most serious crimes against Christian culture to date.”

Pray Together with Your Church, Family, and Friends for:

  • A just and lasting peace — that light would overcome darkness.
  • Defenders, veterans, prisoners, and their families — for strength, protection, and hope.
  • Christians and non-believers in occupied territories — for endurance under persecution.
  • The safe return of kidnapped children & healing for broken families.
  • Comfort for the grieving & restoration for the wounded.
  • Protection of cities, villages, and civilians from relentless attacks.
  • Global perseverance in standing with Ukraine during this long struggle.
  • Wisdom and courage for world leaders as they confront tyranny.
